Admission
Journey

Discover a New World of Special Education

1

It all starts with an Inquiry.

Initial review of inquiry including Pre-Admission Questionnaire.

2

Tour schedule.

Once we receive your electronic inquiry, we contact you with a phone call to schedule a tour.  This gives you the opportunity to see the school, meet the teachers, and see the classroom.  We ask that students do not attend the tour.

3

Required Documentation.

Parents must provide all necessary documents, including IEP, 504 Plan, last report card, professional diagnosis, etc. before we can proceed to the next step.

4

Student Shadowing.

Once documentation is submitted and parents feel comfortable with the school, a shadow day(s) will be scheduled. Shadowing may be half-day, full-day, or multiple days based on individual needs.

5

Testing.

While shadowing, students will complete our internal assessment. The fee is $75 for PreK3-8th grade and $100 for high school. No testing is required for the Bridges Program.

6

Financial Assistance.*

If financial assistance is needed, parents should apply here: FACTS Financial Aid.  In-School Scholarships are based on financial need.  It is first come, first served.

7

Tuition Proposal.

After reviewing the student’s shadow experience, testing, and documentation, a school representative will send a tuition proposal to the parent.

8

Acceptance & Registration.

Once you accept the proposal, a non-refundable registration fee is expected within ten days of the proposal.  Registration fee is $700 with additional student discount.

9

On-Boarding.

Final onboarding and payment setup occur in April/May and must be completed within five business days.  If not completed, this could forfeit your student's place in our school.

Unfortunately, not all students can be accepted.   We do not have a behavior therapist or psychologist on staff at this time.

We have small class sizes.  Waiting lists are created when classes are full.

Registration pays for books, technology, insurance, and it reserves your student's place in class.  All fees are non-refundable.

When shadowing, we ask the student bring a snack and lunch.

*Students may not receive Georgia Special Needs Scholarship and Georgia Promise Scholarship.  If student is eligible for both, we will accept the greater amount.
